Connect your persona to Claude Code, Cursor & claude.ai (MCP)

Your Utari persona now works outside the dashboard. We've added a hosted MCP connection, so you can chat with your persona — with the same memory and the same threads — from the AI tools you already use: Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop, and claude.ai on the web.

What you can do

Once connected, your assistant talks to your persona directly — start new conversations, continue existing ones, and pull replies, all in natural language. Every conversation shows up as a normal thread in your Utari dashboard, and you can keep it going on the web or back in your tool. Your persona's memory carries across both.

How to connect

It takes about a minute:

  • Open General Settings and go to the new MCP tab, then click Create connection.
  • Give it a label and copy your token — it's shown only once.
  • Paste the ready-made command into Claude Code, or the connector URL into claude.ai.
claude mcp add --transport http jeremy-ai https://persona-mcp.utari.ai/mcp/ --header "Authorization: Bearer <token>"

For claude.ai on the web — which has no header field — use the connector URL with your token built in: https://persona-mcp.utari.ai/mcp/?k=<token>.

Good to know

  • Works for both instance owners and community members — usage is billed to the instance owner, so members don't need their own billing.
  • Manage and revoke connections anytime from Settings → MCP; each token is scoped to you and your persona alone.
  • Connection tokens last 90 days.
